Exotel to triple headcount to 200 by 2016

Exotel, a cloud telephony company, plans to triple their headcount to 200 by end of 2016 from 70 employees at present.

The Bangalore-based company will be hiring across technology roles and sales positions to address the demand from its Indian enterprise customers.

Shivakumar Ganesan, CEO of Exotel, said: “We see a huge growth potential across sectors, especially in the ecommerce and logistics start-ups in India. Over the past few months we have seen good adoption, and demand, driving our growth and hiring plans.”

Businesses are utilizing features of Exotel like IVR, Call Recordings and APIs to build telephony applications that power their businesses. Exotel has more than 1,000 customers.
