Airtel to transfer data center biz to wholly-owned subsidiary

Bharti Airtel has decided to transfer its data center business to wholly owned subsidiary called Nxtra Data.

The telecom operator on Wednesday said the Board of Bharti Airtel in its meeting held on July 31, 2013 has approved the sale / transfer of its data center business by way of slump sale to its newly incorporated wholly owned subsidiary Nxtra Data.

The above is subject to shareholder approval.
