Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal elected as chairman of COAI

COAI new leadership team
Telecom industry body COAI has elected Bharti Airtel’s India CEO Gopal Vittal as its chairman for 2016-17.

Gopal Vittal is taking over from Idea Cellular CEO Himanshu Kapania.

Vodafone India CEO Sunil Sood was elected as the vice chairman of COAI.

COAI also designated its executive council for the new term at the annual general meeting.
