Airtel beats Vodafone with free data plans on iPhone 6s

Airtel and iPhone 6s offer
Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel has beaten rival Vodafone India with free 4G data plans on Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

Bharti Airtel is offering savings of Rs 15,000 in a year. Vodafone earlier announced Rs 8,885 savings in 6 months to Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus buyers.

Airtel said its iPhone Infinity plans include 60GB of free 4G data over twelve months, saving customers Rs 15,000 on their monthly bill.

Vodafone Red 1299 plans ensure free data and voice benefits worth Rs 8,885 for 6 months. The Vodafone RED 1299 monthly plan includes 3GB mobile internet quota, 4000 free local and STD minutes and 1500 local and national SMS.

Bharti Airtel is selling Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, beginning Friday, October 16 through 235 of its retail stores. 57 of Bharti Airtel’s retail stores will stay open all night.

“We are offering iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, two of the most iconic developments in technology this year, at Bharti Airtel’s 235 retail stores across India. With the rise of 4G services, we expect new iPhone customers to enjoy a world-class experience on Bharti Airtel,” said Srini Gopalan, director – Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel.

Airtel 4G has reached more than 300 towns across India. On the other hand, Vodafone does not have any 4G LTE presence.
