ZTE to clock 22% revenue growth to $7.4 bn in H1

Networking vendor ZTE today said it expects to clock revenue growth of 21.9 percent to RMB 45.9 billion or $7.4 billion in H1 2015.

ZTE is expected report a 43 percent increase in net profit to RMB 1.61 billion or $260 million for the first six months – fuelled by stronger sales of 4G LTE network.

In the first half, ZTE increased revenue from FDD-LTE network systems, in addition to wireline switch and access systems.

Revenue in the enterprise and Government ICT solutions division also posted growth, driven by new smart city deployments and higher sales to rail operators.

ZTE did not reveal anything about its smartphone business.
