ZTE signs managed services deals with KPN and JOIN Experience

Telecom network vendor ZTE today announced new managed services deals with European telecom operators — KPN and JOIN Experience.

ZTE Services Deutschland, under a 3-year managed services deal, will offer managed services to maintain and operate voicemail services for mobile subscribers in the Netherlands. ZTE Services Deutschland already took over the voicemail hosting for KPN starting on 1 November 2014.

In 2009, KPN selected ZTE as the single supplier for its new 2G / 3G / 4G networks in Germany and Belgium.

ZTE bags deal from JOIN Experience

ZTE Services Deutschland has won a service contract for the operation, maintenance and roll-out of the core network of MVNO JOIN Experience. ZTE will also become the sole network equipment provider for JOIN’s core network.

ZTE will take over the responsibility for network operations, reporting on the radio network, roll-out and maintenance as well as the trouble-shooting, repair, testing and software upgrading of JOIN’s core network in Luxembourg and Belgium.

ZTEsoft, ZTE’s IT subsidiary, which will provide OSS and BSS solutions as well as major new software tools for better customer experience.

“JOIN is planning to expand its mobile and IT services business from Luxembourg to other European countries, starting with Belgium in mid-November,” said Claude Lüscher, general manager of JOIN Experience. “It is our goal to grow into other European markets and to leverage the potential of our pan-European tariff offer.”

With more than 1.000 employees, ZTE Services Deutschland is headquartered in Düsseldorf and runs 11 offices all over the country.
