Vodafone Fiji selects GENBAND Nuvia UCaaS solution

GENBAND said telecom service provider Vodafone Fiji has selected its Nuvia UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solution to offer unified communications services to its business customers.

Andrew Kumar, chief technology officer at Vodafone Fiji, said: “GENBAND Nuvia gets us to market now with a rich set of services that are compelling vs traditional PBX solutions. Our mobile customers expect a solution that helps them work from anywhere; Nuvia’s focus on mobility and ubiquitous collaboration is a logical extension of our services.”

GENBAND’s Nuvia Cloud UC enables businesses to replace their outmoded, ineffective PBX hardware with cloud-based unified communications solutions – supporting traditional business telephony phones and features, Windows/Mac and mobile clients.

The company in a statement said that Nuvia is also designed to make it easy for multisite, multinational organizations to stay connected with UC services such as Presence, Instant Messaging and Collaboration tools. Users can work from anywhere via fixed or mobile broadband connection.

Vodafone Fiji will now resell GENBAND’s Nuvia Cloud UC Solution. The Nuvia solution can be resold under the Nuvia name or rebranded and resold in a multi-tier model.
