Telecom Lead America: Vantrix, a provider of mobile video
mediation, video optimization and delivery solutions, has announced the
availability of its latest video and WEB traffic optimization solution called
Bandwidth Optimizer 3.0.
The new solution however has already been deployed at
several mobile operators worldwide.
The company claims that Bandwidth Optimizer 3.0 has provided
these mobile operators with unmatched peak bandwidth reduction, and allowed
them to ease the pressures of congested cells along with improved user
experience,
In addition, the company said the solution has allowed
these operators to serve more subscribers.

Bandwidth Optimizer 3.0 features Inline Visual Quality Metrics
that providing operators with clear visibility of the impact on end user
Quality of Experience via real-time MOS scoring of optimized video sessions.
In addition, the solution offers Realtime MP4 video
container transcoding along with WEBM/VP8 support, which is the latest Internet
video container and codec sponsored by Google.
The solution incorporates comprehensive Key Performance
Indicator dashboard that providing unique insights into the operator’s mobile
data traffic via a graphical user interface.
WEB page image optimization and caching and Enhanced
Smart Caching architecture are few more features of Bandwidth Optimizer 3.0.
Canada’s Bell selects Vantrix for mobile video mediation
In March this year, Vantrix entered into an agreement
with Bell, Canada’s largest communications company to offer its video mediation
platform Mediadvance.
Under the agreement, Vantrix provided mobile video analysis
and optimization for Bell Mobility’s broadband mobile network.
