Tejas Networks Secures $900 mn Contract for BSNL’s 4G / 5G Network Expansion

Tejas Networks has reached a significant milestone by entering into a contract with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for the supply and annual maintenance services of Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment for Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL)’s Pan-India 4G / 5G network expansion.
BSNL Kerala offersUnder this agreement, Tejas Networks has secured a Purchase Order valued at Rs 7,492 crore (approx. $900 million) from TCS. This order entails the supply of Tejas Networks’ 4G / 5G RAN equipment for around 100,000 sites, with the deployment scheduled to take place during the years 2023 and 2024.

“Our advanced portfolio of baseband and radio products will empower BSNL in launching a scalable, cost-efficient network that meets the highest global standards of performance and quality,” Anand Athreya, CEO and Managing Director of Tejas Networks, said.
