Syniverse has tied up with Idea Cellular for offering data clearing, financial clearing and fraud-prevention solutions.
Idea Cellular, which has more than 122 million mobile users in the Indian telecom market, will benefit from Syniverse’s roaming solutions. Data Clearing House ensures that the massive volumes of incoming roaming data Idea receives are processed in accordance with GSM Association guidelines.
As per the new multi-year agreement, Syniverse will also offer Financial Clearing Services that enable secure and controlled financial clearing and settlement between the operator and its roaming partners.
Syniverse claims that its DataNet provides cost-efficient Near Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange (NRTRDE) platform to deliver immediate access to the critical information needed to combat roaming fraud.
Recently, Syniverse signed an agreement to power Vodafone India’s messaging hub for routing international SMS.
