Syniverse bags mobile messaging deal from Grameenphone

Syniverse today announced its mobile messaging deal with Grameenphone, a telecom operator in Bangladesh and part of the Telenor Group.

By using Syniverse’s SMS and MMS interoperability solutions, Grameenphone subscribers can enjoy seamless messaging experiences across geographic and technological borders.

Grameenphone Bangladesh“Whether users are connecting to one another or applications are delivering information to people automatically, mobile subscribers expect instant and accurate message delivery wherever they are in the world,” said Allan Bonke, chief marketing officer, Grameenphone Bangladesh.

Earlier, Syniverse has provided Grameenphone with roaming solutions, including Syniverse’s Data Clearing House and DataNet Near Real-Time Roaming Data Exchange solution.

Syniverse’s messaging services enable the operator to access real-time message delivery information and reporting as well as enhanced network security, filtering and spam controls.
