Sumitomo starts shipment of RF modules for LTE base station for small cells

Sumitomo Electric Industries announced the sample shipment of TPM-2606P2 radio frequency (RF) modules for LTE base station for small cells.

These modules are expected to shorten LTE base station development and production periods, said Sumitomo.

Sumitomo All-in-One RF Modules for LTE Base Station for Small Cells

The RF module can be used in a 2.6 GHz-band TD-LTE base station.

In addition to this RF module, the company is advancing the development of RF modules for 2.6 GHz band FDD-LTE and 3.5 GHz band TD-LTE. The company is offering different transmission powers and frequencies on request.
