Sterlite Technologies revenue touches Rs 2,161 crore

Sterlite Technologies IndiaSterlite Technologies, a global provider of optical networking products, services and software, today announced its revenue performance for fiscal 2016 and Q4 2016.

Revenue of Sterlite Technologies was Rs 2,161 crore (+33 percent) in fiscal 2016 and profit was Rs 151 crore (+27 percent).

Anand Agarwal, CEO of Sterlite Technologies, said: “We will strengthen our focus on telecom opportunities, while investing in building capabilities on core technologies and smart networks.”

Sterlite Tech achieved an annual production run rate of 22 Mn fkm in Q4, increasing optical fiber manufacturing capacity by 10 percent through de-bottlenecking initiatives.

Sterlite Technologies has doubled optical fiber cable manufacturing capacity to 15 Mn fkm.

Sterlite Technologies has bagged its first Smart City project under Digital India for Gandhinagar to provide Smart transport solutions, IP Surveillance, Wi-Fi connectivity. Sterlite Tech has also won the Jaipur Smart City project in May 2016.
