Salora launches multiple operator-enabled 3G data card


Salora International, a manufacturer of consumer
electronics goods, announced the launch of ‘Salora Zapper 3G Data Card’, which
is compatible with multiple telecom operators at a price of Rs 1,650.


This unique data card is compatible with every GSM
network. With the changing consumer preference and loyalties for telecom
operators, the device will cater in the best possible manner to support
multiple operator choices of consumers. This is the feature that is being
talked first time in India.


Currently, the cards available in the market are locked
with a particular service provider. Based on the “overwhelming
response” of the customers in the last two months, the company now plans
to introduce a data card with 7.2 Mbps speed within a month,” said Anil
Chandna, business head – IT products, Salora International.  


With the booming Indian economy, the country is on move
with increasing number of business travels, urgency for faster connectivity,
penetration of laptop in tier II markets and youth getting active on social
platform day by day. There is a huge population of connectivity seekers waiting
to be tapped. Salora targeting both the telecom and the IT sectors with this
product.


Salora Zapper 3G Data Card is enabled with the multiple
operator functionality and users can download video or chat at a speed of 3.6
Mbps with their personalised SIM network. For those who are text savvy, the
data card serves with a “maximum memory”
of 32GB. The device is
compatible with Windows 7, XP, VISTA, SP2+ and Mac OSX (10.5 X Intel based
CPU).
