RADWIN selected by Tanzanian telecom provider Sasatel

By Telecom Lead Team: RADWIN, a provider
of backhaul and broadband wireless solutions, announced it was selected by
Tanzanian service provider Sasatel.

The service provider deployed a combination of RADWIN 2000
point-to-point and RADWIN 5000 point-to-multipoint links offering secured SLA
service to deliver high-speed broadband to its corporate clients.

RADWIN provides the RADWIN 2000 high-capacity Point-to-Point
solutions and RADWIN 5000 Point-to-Multipoint solutions.

The wireless links incorporate advanced technologies and are
built to withstand the toughest outdoor conditions, extreme weather, high
interference and operation in non-line-of-sight.

“Our mission is to deliver fast and affordable Internet
service to Tanzanian businesses. With RADWIN’s carrier-grade solutions, Sasatel
is providing high-capacity broadband that meets and exceeds customers’ capacity
demands. Our network is based on RADWIN’s Point-to-Point and
Point-to-Multipoint links which guarantees the highest quality communications
and best network performance,” said Duncan Clarson, acting CEO at Sasatel.

Balton Tanzania, a system integrator, was in charge of project
implementation. The system integrator used a combination of RADWIN 2000 for
backhaul and RADWIN 5000 links for last mile connectivity to build the optimal
network architecture.

“With RADWIN’s solutions, operators in Africa and
the world can give corporate customers the high capacity services that they
crave with guaranteed SLA. RADWIN is proudly serving Sasatel today and will
continue to do so in the future as the company expands its network,” said Rami

Recently, RADWIN announced that its solutions were deployed by three municipalities
in Santiago, Chile for high-speed video surveillance transmission.
