Ooredoo Selects Tech Mahindra and Google Cloud for Digital Transformation

Tech Mahindra, a global technology company, has been chosen by Ooredoo Group as the key implementation partner for their ambitious digital transformation project.

Ooredoo Group is adopting a digital platform-based approach to drive value and elevate customer experience throughout its operations. The integration of Google Cloud’s API Management Platform, Apigee, will play a pivotal role in accelerating Ooredoo’s digital transformation. Tech Mahindra will facilitate the execution of this strategic project across all of Ooredoo’s Operating Companies (OpCos).

“The telecom industry has undergone a significant shift from hardware to software, largely driven by APIs. Businesses are utilizing APIs to deliver digital capabilities and data in a user-friendly manner,” noted Ram Ramachandran, Head of Middle East & Africa at Tech Mahindra.

Collaborating with Google Cloud’s Apigee, Ooredoo is poised to lead the digital transformation within the telecom sector and offer innovative digital services to its clientele.
