Nominum appoints Umesh Jamwal to head Indian telecom market

Telecom Lead Asia: Nominum, a provider of network-based service delivery platform for mobile operators, has appointed Umesh Jamwal as the country manager, regional director of India and SAARC.

Jamwal will establish relationships with telecom operators and partners in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Before joining Nominum, Jamwal was a consultant focusing on developing Big Data applications and identifying new revenue sources for VAS, telecom startups and key service providers.

In addition, Jamwal spent four years at Sybase365 as the India and Sri Lanka country head, responsible for growing international sales from startup revenues to $10 million.

He also had leadership roles at Siemens AG, Lucent Technologies, and Tellabs.

Utilizing customer behavior data from the existing DNS network and other sources, Nominum’s N2 platform assists telecom operators to offer personalized, secure connected experiences that enhance brand association and increase loyalty.
