Nokia Networks appoints Danny Atme as GM for Pakistan

Nokia Networks (earlier known as NSN) business has appointed Danny Atme as general manager for Pakistan.

He will be responsible for sales, delivery, customer relationship and financial operations.

Danny, who has more than 24 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, has worked in the USA, Australia, China, Egypt, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Recently, Pakistan completed the spectrum 3G and 4G spectrum auction. Pakistan telecom operators such as Mobilink, Zong, Telenor and Ufone have bagged 3G license, while Zong received the 4G license.

Danny said: “Pakistan has great market potential for the latest 3G and 4G technologies. We want to bring value to our customers in Pakistan. We aim to boost the development of the ICT sector in the country, leveraging the skilled Pakistani resources.”
