New Smart Booster technology eliminates cellular network interference

Smart Booster, a South Florida engineering
partnership, announced it has developed a proprietary technology designed to
eliminate consumer cell phone booster interference and maximize rural
cellular signal range.

Smart Booster’s patented
technology also protects the integrity of densely covered urban cellular
markets.

channelizedoperation protects the spectrum
rights of individual carriers. It is this departure from legacy broadband
booster technologies that aligns Smart Booster with a unanimous
carrier consensus for absolute control over devices operating on their respective
networks.

Using global positioning
satellites, Smart Booster’s intelligent technology tells the booster
precisely where it is with respect to existing network coverage and
autonomously adjusts the signal strength to ensure robust communications
without harmful network interference.

Smart Booster includes a remotely
controlled “kill switch”. This feature allows a carrier to remotely test and
disable individually malfunctioning devices in the unlikely event they ever
cause interference. The kill switch function does not require hands-on access
to an offending device, making it exceptionally carrier friendly.

Earlier in July, Communications Components
(CCI) launched another technology the PiMPro family of analyzers in EMEA, which enable
mobile network operators (MNOs) to prevent Passive Intermodulation (PIM) – a
form of interference – from their networks, and prevent it from damaging
quality of service (QoS) and customer experience.
