NEC to showcase telecom solutions at Mobile World Congress 2016

TeliaSonera brings connected car solutionTelecom network vendor NEC will showcase its solutions at the Mobile World Congress 2016 (MWC) in Barcelona, February 22-25.

Some of the focus areas of NEC will be telecom solutions for offering better customer experience and on demand solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).

NEC will showcase traffic management solutions, customer retention and crowd sourcing solutions for telecoms.

Telecom network operators can expand services beyond traditional connectivity into an on demand landscape based on virtualization technologies.

NEC has software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions, including virtualized customer premises equipment (vCPE), virtualized evolved packet core (vEPC), transport SDN and management and orchestration (MANO).

At MWC, NEC will showcase its solutions to provide secure IoT systems to handle cyber attacks.

Anand Prasad, executive specialist and chief advanced technologist, NEC Corporation, will be speaking at MWC 2016 on February 24.

Carrier data center infrastructure, virtual data center (vDC) solutions, Enterprise-RAN (E-RAN) solutions, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and image recognition technologies are the other NEC solutions being displayed at MWC 2016.
