MajBritt Arfert, Chief People Officer at Ericsson, will step down at the end of May 2025 after over 38 years with the company.

MajBritt Arfert has been part of Ericsson’s Executive Team since 2016, playing a key role in shaping the company’s culture and people strategy.

Borje Ekholm, President and CEO, said the timing is appropriate for a leadership transition as Ericsson embarks on a new strategic chapter.

A search for MajBritt Arfert’s successor will begin soon to ensure a smooth transition.

In her statement, MajBritt Arfert expressed pride in her work at Ericsson and her commitment to ensuring a successful handover during her remaining time with the company.
