L&T joins Intel Network Builders program to boost NFV and SDN biz

L&T Technology Services has joined the Intel Network Builders program to strengthen focus on the network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined network (SDN) infrastructure.

The Intel Network Builders program is an ecosystem of solutions providers that provides access to a reference architecture library of solutions that accelerate the development and implementation of network function virtualization (NFV) and software-defined network (SDN) infrastructure.

Keshab Panda, chief executive, L&T Technology Services, said:  “As SDN and NFV technologies are redefining how networks are built and managed, we see significant business opportunities in the telecom & networking space.”

The initiative will enable L&T Technology services, a contributor in the SDN space, to develop cost effective solutions and applications based on Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV).

L&T Technology Services has invested significantly in this space by developing portable SDN applications and VNFs like Virtual Router.
