Rakesh Mohan Agarwal, director – Marketing, ITI, has taken additional charge as chairman and managing director of the company.
ITI earlier announced the retirement of K Alagesan, director – Production with additional charge of CMD.
Rakesh Mohan Agarwal has joined the Board of Directors of the company on June 08, 2016 as Government Nominee Director. He has been appointed as director Marketing, ITI and assumed charge on April 27, 2018.
ITI said Rakesh Mohan Agarwal has more than 28 years of experience in the field of policy formulation, standardization planning, operation and maintenance of telecom services.
He holds a bachelors degree of engineering in electronics from Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College, Gorakpur, and a master’s degree in electronics and communications engineering from University of Roorkee and a master’s in business administration from Indira Gandhi Open University.
