Ethertronics ships 500 millionth embedded antenna

and RF system solutions, announced it shipped its 500 millionth antenna in the
fourth quarter of 2011.

 

The company claims that its dedication to providing its
business partners, including many of the world’s top OEMs, with proven
technology, innovative solutions and fast time-to-market (TTM) results has
contributed to the company’s success.

 

“Our acceleration in numbers is proven by our
triumph of more than doubling the number of antennas we shipped within the last
two years, referencing 200 million cumulative from 2000 to 2009,” said
said Laurent Desclos, president and CEO of Ethertronics.

 

In 2011, Ethertronics introduced its “active”
antenna system solutions to meet the challenges of next-generation networks
such as 4G and LTE. Its designs have been chosen by a wide range of OEMs in the
wireless industry including handset, tablet, notebook, industrial handheld,
medical, sports equipment, remote monitoring and many more.

 

Looking to the future, Ethertronics will continue to work
closely with its OEM partners to develop and design RF and antenna systems for
4G and LTE devices, to deliver a superior user experience.
