Ericsson North America head Rima Qureshi resigned


Ericsson today said Rima Qureshi, head of North America business, will leave the telecom infrastructure company effective May 11, 2017.

North America is the largest telecom market for Ericsson.

Earlier, Rima Qureshi was also head of the strategy at Ericsson.

Rima Qureshi has decided to leave Ericsson to pursue another opportunity in the industry.

Ericsson has appointed Niklas Heuveldop as acting head of Market Area North America. Niklas Heuveldop currently holds the position as senior vice president, chief strategy officer, head of Technology & Emerging Business.
