Conax selected by Kerela Communicators for digitization of 200 cable TV operations

Telecom Lead India: Conax, a provider of solutions for
protecting multi-device digital content, has inked a contract with Kerela
Communicators Cable Limited (KCCL).


As per the agreement, Conax will deliver the
organization’s 200 cable TV operators with cost effective content security
solutions for enabling digital migration and advanced service offerings.


KCCL operators represent 70 percent of cable TV services
in Kerala. The alliance with Conax will enable KKCCL operators to reduce churn
and avoid challenges.


KCCL is an initiative of the cable TV operators in Kerela
within the umbrella of the Cable Operators Association (COA).


Conax said it will guide the Kerela cable TV operators in
navigating the new digital landscape, integrating new product offerings and
obtaining secure distribution of both multi-device of premium content.

The Conax Contego solution will provide the KCCL operators
with a highly stable system, technical expertise and responsibility for
integration together with Conax-approved partners.
