Array Networks introduces APV 800 series and new soft-ADCs

Telecom Lead America: Array Networks has come up with its
new series of multi-tenant virtualized application delivery appliances called
APV 800 along with vAPV.


Using 64-bit SpeedCore platform by Array, the new APV 800
Series virtualized appliances supports multiple high-performance vAPV
application delivery controllers instance.


These new products enable enterprises and service
providers to run multiple instances of Array APV Series application delivery
controllers on Array’s purpose-built hardware appliances.


Furthermore, these products can also run as virtual
machines on commodity servers running VMware ESXi or Citrix’s XenServer
hypervisors.


The introduction of our new virtualized
application delivery appliances and software application delivery controllers
is further proof of our commitment to providing customers and partners with
network infrastructure products for the cloud and virtualized data center that
create new efficiencies, agility and competitive advantages,” said Michael
Zhao, president and CEO of Array Networks.


The new virtualized appliances offers infrastructure
services to cloud and managed hosting service providers. The APV appliances
enable consolidation by packing more load balancers into less space.


With these APV virtualized appliances, service providers
can lower down capex and opex, while increasing profit margins.


In addition to running on Array’s virtualized APV 800
Series appliances, vAPV soft-ADCs also run on virtual infrastructure and
commodity hardware for an even greater level of flexibility in service
deployment.


The vAPV soft-ADCs support both VMware ESXi 4.1 or later
and XenServer 5.6 or later and enable enterprises and service providers to
create and offer dynamic application services,

Recently, the company introduced its AG1000 Series Secure
Access Gateways, comprising four new appliances that leverage Array’s 64-bit
SpeedCore architecture
