5BARz to enter Indian telecom market, hires CEO

Telecom vendor 5BARz India has hired Kyocera Wireless executive Samartha Raghava Nagabhushanam as managing director and CEO — strengthen India presence.

5BARz, a patented cellular network infrastructure device for use in the small office, home or for when users are mobile, aims to strengthen its presence in the Indian telecom market.

Before joining 5BARz, he was the managing director of Kyocera Wireless India, a 100 percent arm of Kyocera group. He has experience in building and selling phones for the U.S., Japan, India and LATAM markets. He also has experience in building 3G & 4G base stations in over 20 countries.

“It is great news for Indian consumers that 5BARz is entering the Indian market. Rapidly increasing consumer base, faster urbanization, growing health concerns due to towers near residential blocks and shared cell tower infrastructure is posing a unique challenge to operators,” Nagabhushanam said in a statement.

5BARz can be used to eliminate choppy calls, call drops and slow videos on mobile devices. 5BARz strengthens weak cellular signals to deliver high quality signals for voice, data and video reception on cell phones and other cellular equipped devices.
