IDT appoints David Chen as VP of sales for China, Taiwan, India

Integrated Device Technology (IDT) has named David Chen as vice president of sales for China, Taiwan, India, and Southeast Asia.

Chen, who will be based in IDT’s Shanghai office, has earlier worked with Intersil for 13 years and Texas Instruments for six years as sales director for TI’s wireless business, and nine years with NXP Semiconductors (formerly Philips Semiconductors) as applications engineering manager for MCU products for wireline and wireless OEM customers.

“China, Taiwan, India and Southeast Asia are strategic and fast-growing markets for IDT, and we searched for someone who has a proven track record of growing mixed-signal semiconductor sales in Asia and of building strong sales teams and distribution channels,” said Mario Montana, vice president and chief sales officer at IDT.
