Motorola Mobility names Amit Boni as general manager of India

Motorola Mobility has appointed Amit Boni as general manager of India. 

He will lead the team across the country and be responsible for the Go-to-Market strategy.

Google earlier said that Motorola Mobility will be acquired by Lenovo.

The company claims that both Moto G and Moto X smartphones are doing well in the Indian smartphone market.

In early 2010, Amit joined Motorola Mobility taking charge of GTM strategy and sales operations for the Asia region of Motorola.

Amit joined EVS and Honeywell from 2004 to 2010 and his key responsibility in the organization was involved in work on strategic planning and strategic marketing.
