Champion Computers launches Android 4.0 tablet at Rs 4899

Telecom Lead India: Indian tablet market is flooding
with cheap Android based tablets with regular launches from Chinese and
domestic players.


Delhi-based Champion Computers, a corporate house dealing
in IT products, has launched Android 4.0 powered tablet PC named the Wtab 7.2
at Rs 4899.


Powered with Cortex A8 1.5 Ghz processor and 512MB RAM,
the tablet features a 17. 8cm 5 point touch capacitive screen.


The tablet comes with a flash memory of 4GB, which is
expandable upto 32 GB. The tablet also features a front MP camera and comes
with a GSensor which provides 360 angular rotation.


With 3G dongle support through a USB port, users can
access high speed internet on the go.


Weighing 320gms, the Wtab provides battery back of 4-5
hrs and comes with a warranty of 1 year.


Speaking on the launch, Kapil Wadhwa, MD, Champion
Computers said that the strategy is not to launch the cheapest tablet but an
affordable device with quality and superior performance that delights
customers.


He added that the company provides its own brand of
dongles WConnect which is 100 percent compatible with the Wtab 7.2., unlike
other tablets that face 3G dongle- tablet compatibility issues.


The device is available at all major electronic
showrooms, leading e-commerce sites and through channel partners for
purchase.

peripherals industry, Champion Computers sells a wide range of products under
