Vivo to reach more international smartphone markets including Africa

Vivo smartphone marketsVivo today revealed the company strategy to expand into more international markets with its innovative smartphone range.

The China-based device brand said its latest smartphones such as X20 from the X series will be available in Hong Kong.

The company will bring their products to Taiwan, Singapore and Russia, as their first foray into the European market, followed by a push into the African market in early next year.

According to Gartner’s latest research, Vivo ranked 5th in global smartphone sales in Q2 2017 in terms of volume with 6.6 percent market share. Vivo is ranked 5th on the IDG list of 2016-2017 Leading Global Smartphone Brands.

Vivo has launched V7+ in India, Thailand,  Myanmar,  Malaysia,  Indonesia,  Pakistan,  Cambodia, Bangladesh and the Philippines.
