Tata Indicom announces Alcatel J636D+ smartphone

Indian telecom service provider Tata Indicom, the CDMA brand of Tata Teleservices, today announced bundling of services on Alcatel J636D+ smartphone in Delhi-NCR region.

“We are sure that this handset will appeal to consumers who want an economically priced CDMA smart phone option available to them,” said Tata Indicom Hub Head for Delhi Ajit Chaturvedi in a statement.

Priced at Rs 8,000, the dual SIM Alcatel J636 D+ will be available exclusively in Delhi with Tata Indicom. The handset supports both CDMA and GSM networks.

Those opting for the this bundled offer will get Rs 1,000 talk time along with 2 GB data with a validity of 2 months on pre-paid platform.

Post-paid subscribers upon choosing a plan with monthly rental above or equal to Rs 199 are entitled 1GB data every month for 6 months.

Existing pre-pay subscribers will get Rs 100 talk time for 10 months and 2GB data with validity of 60 days if they opt for this bundled offer.
