Realme 16x 5G India Launch on August 12: 144Hz Display, 7000mAh Battery, 50MP AI Camera and GT BOOST Gaming

Realme has announced that the Realme 16x 5G will launch in India on August 12, 2026, bringing a feature-rich smartphone designed for gaming, content creation, and everyday performance. The device combines a 144Hz ultra-smooth display, 7000mAh battery, 50MP AI camera, and AI-powered software enhancements to deliver a premium user experience.

The Realme 16x 5G smartphone is powered by Realme’s self-developed Flux Engine, which intelligently optimizes system resources for smoother multitasking and consistent day-to-day performance. Its 144Hz high refresh rate display provides fluid scrolling, responsive touch interactions, improved gaming visuals, and enhanced outdoor readability.

For mobile gamers, the 5G smartphone integrates GT BOOST, Realme’s AI-powered gaming optimization engine. The technology intelligently manages processing resources to maintain higher and more stable frame rates, delivering smoother gameplay and a more immersive gaming experience.

Battery life is another key highlight. The 5G smartphone packs a 7000mAh battery designed to provide all-day usage while supporting 45W fast charging, bypass charging, and reverse charging. realme also claims the battery is engineered to maintain reliable health for up to six years.

The Realme 16x 5G features a slim design with a Blooming Design finish while offering IP65 dust and water resistance and military-grade shock resistance for improved durability.

Photography features include a 50MP AI camera supported by AI imaging tools such as AI Eraser and AI Ultra Clarity for cleaner and sharper photos. The smartphone also includes Motion Photo and Dual-View Video Mode, enabling users to capture dynamic images and record from multiple perspectives for content creation.

The Realme 16x 5G will be available through Flipkart, realme.com, and mainline retail stores following its official launch on August 12, 2026. Pricing and complete specifications will be announced during the launch event.

The realme 16x 5G competes with the iQOO Z10 5G, OPPO K13 5G, and Vivo T4 5G in the mid-range 5G smartphone segment.

iQOO Z10 5G offers a 7000mAh battery, high-refresh-rate display, fast charging, and gaming-focused performance.

OPPO K13 5G combines a 7000mAh battery, 120Hz AMOLED display, AI camera features, fast charging, and a slim design. Vivo T4 5G features a larger 7300mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate display, AI imaging capabilities, and fast charging, with a stronger focus on battery endurance.
