Tanla Solutions introduces gaming service platform for BlackBerry in Asia Pacific region

Telecom Lead India: Tanla Solutions, a provider of Mobile
Payments and Rights management solutions, is all prepared to introduce a
socially connected gaming service platform namely Games Club for BlackBerry
smartphone customers in the Asia Pacific region.

The platform will offer over 80 games from Electronic
Arts at launch and will include popular games like Need for Speed, Wolverine,
The Sims 3, Tetris, Harry Potter DHP and several others.

 

The platform has over 1 million active users that
generate over 2 million game plays per day. The company said the platform
offers flexible billing and subscription options that attract gamers of all
levels.

 

The platform offers BlackBerry users options to play
games by either downloading the discovery application that lists all the games
available or by downloading individual games for free on BlackBerry App World.

 

Headquartered in India, Tanla Solutions uses its
proprietary license management solution for rights management, in application
payments and redemption.

 

Several global operators OEM’s and developers uses
Tanla’s License Management solution to license their games and application in
flexible ways such as subscriptions, try and buy and time bound licensing.

 

Tanla’s License Management solution is already installed
on over 400 million handsets.

 

BlackBerry ties up with mobile payments provider Tanla
Solutions in Middle East

 

Research In Motion (RIM), maker of BlackBerry smartphones
recently tied up with Tanla Solutions to offer applications gift card solutions
in the Middle East.
