Apple sale in India reaches $8 bn in 2023-24 fiscal

Apple has generated sales of almost $8 billion in India, registering an increase of 33 percent, during the financial year 2023-24, Bloomberg News reported.

Apple’s iPhones accounted for more than half of the sales.

Apple has assembled $14 billion worth of iPhones in India last fiscal year, and makes as much as 14 percent of its devices from India.

Most iPhones made in India are produced at the Sriperumbudur plant, about 25 miles west of Tamil Nadu’s state capital Chennai.
