Vodafone Speeds 5G Voice Upgrades with Breakthrough Automated Testing

Vodafone and Spirent have launched an automated testing platform that dramatically accelerates the rollout of Vodafone’s 5G core-voice network software across Europe. The new system replaces months-long manual validation with a fully automated process that completes in days, cutting deployment time by roughly 75 percent. Designed for cloud-native 5G standalone networks, the platform improves reliability, reduces operational risk, and streamlines multi-vendor integration. This investment in automation allows Vodafone to deliver faster, higher-quality software updates and ensures stronger, more efficient network performance. For customers, it enables quicker access to enhanced voice capabilities, improved call quality, and more dependable 5G services.

Digi’s Zero-Touch eSIM Redefines Flexible, Fast, and Resilient IoT Connectivity

Digi International has introduced an SGP.32-compliant zero-touch eSIM that streamlines global IoT deployments through automatic activation and seamless multi-carrier switching. The eSIM’s preloaded bootstrap profile enables instant connectivity, reducing manual configuration and eliminating issues tied to physical SIM handling. Integrated with Digi Remote Manager, it provides unified cloud-based control for provisioning, security, and real-time edge visibility. This innovation places strong focus on customer needs by cutting deployment time, improving uptime, and offering flexible carrier management for sectors such as transportation, retail, industrial systems, and critical infrastructure, ensuring more resilient and efficient IoT operations.

Netcracker Powers AIS with Asia-Pacific’s Largest Cloud Revenue Upgrade

Netcracker has rolled out its cloud‑native Revenue Management solution for AIS, marking the largest cloud deployment in Thailand and across Asia‑Pacific. This upgrade powers both B2C and B2B “quad‑play” services (mobile, broadband, and other services), offering subscription billing flexibility, improved scalability, and agility for AIS. For AIS, the move boosts operational efficiency, reduces costs, enables faster time-to-market for new offerings, and lays the groundwork for advanced 5G and IoT business models. The deployment was completed within tight timelines and already supported major customer events, like a high-profile smartphone launch, without disruption.
