Enterprises Get Gigabit Speeds: Intracom Telecom and BroadbandOne Launch FWA Across U.S.
Intracom Telecom and BroadbandOne announced a partnership to deploy gigabit fixed wireless access for enterprises across the U.S. The service uses mmWave technology operating in the 28 GHz spectrum. The network supports more than five miles of range from a single base station. Each site can deliver multi-gigabit capacity to multiple subscribers. BroadbandOne will deliver the service through a Telco-as-a-Service model, allowing enterprises to access managed connectivity without building infrastructure. The deployment targets locations where fiber installation is limited or delayed. Intracom Telecom will provide radio systems and network planning. BroadbandOne will handle operations and customer delivery.
Wire 3 Brings 10-Gig Fiber Internet to Port St. Lucie
Wire 3, a Florida-based fiber internet provider, has connected Port St. Lucie to its fiber optic network. The project involved a $12 million investment to bring high-speed internet service to residents and businesses. The network supports speeds up to 10 gigabits per second with symmetrical upload and download. Wire 3’s infrastructure directly connects homes and businesses to the fiber network. The company plans to expand its network to create 10-Gig cities across Central Florida and the Space Coast. Customers can check service availability and pre-register for installation through wire3.com.
Movius and Vodafone Revolutionize Enterprise Communication with Secure MultiLine Service
Movius has partnered with Vodafone to provide secure communications for businesses through Vodafone Business MultiLine, combining Vodafone’s network infrastructure with Movius’ Secure Communications as a Service (SCaaS™). The service allows businesses to communicate securely across voice, text, and social media platforms and integrates with Microsoft Teams, CRM systems, and other business tools, enabling cross-company communication on a single platform. Initially launched in Germany, it supports compliance and security requirements for enterprise communication.
Morocco Forces Telecom Giants to Share Fiber Networks, Boosting Connectivity and Innovation Morocco’s National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) issued a ruling requiring telecom operators to share their fiber optic infrastructure. Major operators — Maroc Telecom, Orange, and Inwi — must provide access to competitors. Operators can act as Infrastructure Operators (IOs), leasing their fiber, or as Commercial Operators (COs), offering services using others’ networks. The framework establishes non-discriminatory access and transparent pricing. Automated systems will manage service requests and coordination between IOs and COs. Inwi has begun granting access to its Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network.
