RADCOM to present 5G-Ready service assurance at MWC 2019

RADCOM announced that it will showcase RADCOM Network Intelligence, a 5G-Ready service assurance portfolio, at Mobile World Congress 2019 (MWC 2019).
Radcom at MWC 2019RADCOM Network Intelligence uses a combination of probe-based service assurance and network event handling to deliver a comprehensive view of the end-to-end service quality to telecom engineers.

RADCOM’s 5G-ready portfolio consists of RADCOM Network Visibility, RADCOM Service Assurance and RADCOM Network Insights for a complete on-demand, smart solution for operators to enable end-to-end customer and service experience management during the NFV and 5G transition.

“With 5G rollouts continuing, operators need to adopt a new approach to service assurance that is on-demand, correlates data from probe-based service assurance and network events while delivering insights into encrypted traffic,” said Rami Amit, chief technology officer at RADCOM.

RADCOM correlates the data via a smart SOC and CEM layer that enables operators to understand which network issues are impacting the customer experience and proactively troubleshoot to resolve service-affecting problems.

RADCOM’s solution also deploys Machine Learning (ML) and heuristic modeling to provide operators with insights into encrypted traffic for such use cases as video streaming, gaming, tethering, IoT, and messaging. Operators can use insights to improve customer and service experience as they transition to NFV and 5G.

RADCOM reported revenues of $34.1 million (–8 percent) with net loss of $2.4 million in 2018 primarily due to slower pace of NFV transformations. RADCOM is expecting revenue of $28 – $32 million in 2019.

“As mobile operators begin to roll out 5G networks, RADCOM is well positioned as a leading assurance player for NFV, which will be the foundation for 5G-ready cloud services,” RADCOM CEO Yaron Ravkaie said.
