Taiwantrade Mobile app achieves 270,000 active members

 

 

Taiwantrade Mobile, operated by Taiwan
External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) on behalf of the Bureau of Foreign
Trade, announced that the app currently has 270,000 active members.

 

 

This B2B platform gives Taiwan vendors
unprecedented international exposure, which will take Taiwan’s economy to a new
level.

 

Available in English, Chinese and Japanese,
Taiwantrade is one of the few trade platforms in Asia that provides free mobile
apps. The app allows users browse the entire product catalogs or use the
extended search capabilities that assist with product selection as well as the
latest procurement guide.

 

Within one month from its launch Taiwantrade
Mobile has been well acknowledged among the users and highly recommended by
270,000 existing members. As of today, it has amassed over 2,500 downloads.
Next year, Taiwan will host around 30 international trade shows and nearly
100,000 buyers will be benefited from this new app.

 

Taiwan, a valued trading partner to other
Asian countries, remains a bright spot in Asia’s economy and a driving force
behind it. Taiwan ICT industry hold a core position in the global IT value
chain and also shows great advancement in green products and seeks leadership
in the global green industry.

 

Taiwan’s trade with the world reached a new
high to US$526.4 billion in 2010, an increase of 39.15 percent from a year ago.
TAITRA is focusing on emerging markets, which continues to represent attractive
business opportunities for Taiwan suppliers, along with China, US and Europe.

 

TAITRA actively joins international trade
fairs and launches sustainable business initiatives to help Taiwanese
businesses accomplish their goal of selling products to every corner of the
world.

 


Recently, TAITRA- Taiwan External Trade Development Council organized a
nationwide campaign to promote Taiwanese technology brands in India.

 

To support this unique and promising
