Zain Kuwait to deploy Nokia OSS solutions

Zain Kuwait will deploy Nokia (earlier known as NSN) OSS solutions to simplify network operations in order to reduce resolution time for complex problems in the telecom operator’s multi-technology, multi-vendor network.

Omar Al Omar, chief executive officer, Zain Kuwait, said that there’s a need to evolve daily operations from a network-centric approach to a customer-centric one by transforming Network Operation Center (NOC) with advanced OSS solutions.

Nokia will supply its OSS portfolio and services to build a foundation for the transformation of Zain Kuwait’s operations. Its fault management platform based on NetAct Advanced Monitor will enable centralized, end-to-end fault management in the multi-technology, multi-domain, multi-vendor environment, said Nokia.

The telecom network vendor said Nokia’s Performance Manager platform will provide a single point of access for network performance insight, assisting Zain Kuwait to ensure better quality networks all the time.
