Unisys introduces VSE Model 412 server to simplify voice mail management

Unisys, an IT major, has extended its voice-messaging family
by announcing VSE Model 412 server and mobile voice solutions which will give
telecom services providers and subscribers flexibility in managing voice mail.

VSE Model 412 server gives several new options for reaching
contacts and accessing their voice messages to mobile subscribers. It also
allows carriers to add and manage new revenue-generating services while
controlling costs.

The VSE Model 412 server is the newest member of
the Unisys VoiceSource Express 400 series of messaging and converged user services platforms.

Steven Chuey, vice president, Global Solution Management,
Unisys said, “With the VSE 412 and our new voice solutions, we are
delivering an innovative, mission-critical platform that gives our
communications clients new ways to accommodate business growth and provide
flexibility in delivering voice services.”

The VSE 412 is the first of VSE series to use Unisys’ secure
partitioning (s-Par) architecture, an enterprise-class virtualization
technology developed for Unisys ClearPath system based
on Intel processors. Each VSE 412 system can cater up to 3 million voice users.

The software-based messaging solutions introduced by the
company can run on all products of the Unisys VSE 400 Series  including Unisys Visual Voicemail solutions,
which enable subscribers to listen directly to a voice message without having
to go through a message envelope or an interactive voice response (IVR) system;
Unisys Call Me Now, which allows subscribers to receive an SMS alert when a
person they have previously called is available on the network; Unisys Never
Lost Message, which allows callers to leave an ad hoc message for a called
party who does not have voicemail activated.

Unisys Corporation and BMC Software recently announced
(please follow this style while writing backlink story) a joint initiative to deliver and manage advanced cloud solutions that make clients’ IT
organizations more responsive and efficient in delivering business services.
