Sybase 365 introduces Push 365 messaging service for enterprise messaging

Telecom Lead America:  Sybase 365, a provider
of mobile messaging and mobile commerce services and has launched its new
Sybase Push 365 messaging service.

 

The Sybase Push 365 service, a mobile app-based push messaging
service will enable enterprises to grow and sustain customer engagement. The
service leverages a strategic alliance with Urban Airship, a platform for
mobile app-based push messaging, app engagement and monetization.

 

Urban Airship will provide Sybase 365 with developer
tools and resources that allow enterprises to quickly and easily add push
messaging capabilities to mobile apps, as well as browser-based interfaces.

 

These services will also be available to mobile operators
and OEMs through Sybase 365.

 

The service offers Urban Airship push notifications,
which can be highly targeted through advanced segmentation based on a wide
variety of customizable attributes such as audience location, context, user-set
preferences or business rules.

 

“Partnering with a world-class organization like
Sybase 365 will bring us global scale virtually overnight, as well as present
our products to new audiences more familiar with traditional enterprise
messaging,” said Scott Kveton, CEO and co-founder of Urban Airship.

 

The company said that the new Sybase 365, with its SMS
messaging services and reach to over 900 mobile operators, will be in a
commanding position to offer enterprises an array of customer engagement
services across all mobile channels and via any mobile device.

Symphony Teleca Corporation selects Sybase’s Afaria for
enterprise mobility management

 

Recently, Symphony Teleca Corporation collaborated
with Sybase to help organizations address the variable costs of enterprise
mobility.

 

Under the collaboration, Symphony Teleca integrated
the latest version of Afaria7.0, Sybase’s mobile device management and
security solution providing real-time data collection, with its Communications
Lifecycle Management (CLM) service.
