Telecom Lead India: In a bid to facilitate cloud
adoption, HP has launched HP Converged Cloud solutions particularly for
organizations in Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ).
The Converged Cloud solutions simplify deployment to
enhance business innovation and agility. The company claims that HP Converged
Cloud is the industry’s first hybrid delivery approach.
The new solution portfolio is based on a common
architecture that spans private, managed and public clouds as well as
traditional IT.
New HP Converged Cloud offerings for APJ include HP
CloudSystem Quick Start Kit and HP CloudSystem Solutions. The HP CloudSystem
Quick Start Kit enable CIOs to create a tailored, pre-configured cloud
infrastructure that meets specific business needs.
The new portfolio of cloud solutions will enable chief
information officers (CIO) to quickly embrace delivery models without adding
complexity and risk to their environments.

The new portfolio is built on HP CloudSystem, a core
element of the HP Converged Cloud portfolio, providing an integrated and open
platform that enables enterprises and service providers to build and manage
services across private, managed and public cloud environments.
The new portfolio also combines HP CloudSystem
Matrix and HP Cloud Maps to deliver the fastest path to cloud
enablement for applications on HP Converged Infrastructure.
The HP portfolio includes industry specific
solutions including solutions for Automotive, Financial Services, Energy,
Public Sector, Outsourcing and Manufacturing.

Recently, HP introduced HP AppSystem for Microsoft Lync,
and a customizable HP Polycom Rich Media Communications (RMC) solution.
