Telecom Lead Europe: The DECT Forum, the international
association of the cordless home and enterprise communication industry,
announced that Andreas Zipp from VTech Telecommunications has been elected new
Chairman of the industry association.
Andreas Zipp succeeds Erich Kamperschroer of Gigaset
Communications who has taken other responsibilities in his company. Within VTech
Andreas is responsible for broadband business development, new technologies and
innovation.
Andreas has been a member of the DECT Forum Board since
2008. His business expertise includes various senior positions in the
telecommunications industry for more than 20 years. He is also a frequently
asked speaker at industry events worldwide.
On behalf of the DECT Forum I would like to thank Erich
Kamperschroer for his long engagement as Chairman of the DECT Forum and to
welcome Andreas as our new chairman,” said Ruth Wilson, deputy chair of the
DECT Forum.

exciting challenges and market opportunities. Key goals for the near future will
be to drive CAT-iq adoption and DECT ULE as relevant and reliable technologies
for a variety of applications worldwide,” said Andreas Zipp, chairman of the
DECT Forum.
The DECT Forum is the international association of the
cordless home and enterprise communication industry. DECT, DECT 6.0 and CAT-iq
are worldwide-adopted technologies with high relevance for wireless voice,
broadband home and enterprise communication.
