D-Link Unveils its Next Generation NAS Device

D-Link announced the launch of DNS-325, a 2-Bay Network Storage with ShareCenter Shadow targeted towards addressing high-end 2-bay Consumer NAS market.
D-Link DNS-325, with its 1.2GHz CPU and high speed Gigabit Ethernet, allows customers to share files across the network and on the Internet. It provides the backup and mirroring capability for users to protect their valuable files from drive failures. Remote file access is made easy through the built-in web file server or through the built-in FTP server. A built-in USB port supports external USB drives, print server, and UPS monitoring function, and a built-in DLNA certified UPnP AV server to output streaming music, photos and videos to UPnP AV compatible media players.
D-Link DNS-325 features the powerful add-on interface which extends NAS functionality. Users can customize their own NAS by enabling applications like P2P Download Engine, Media Servers, Photo Center, Blog and Audio Streamer to address their needs. This ShareCenter will also debut D-Link’s next generation NAS GUI design for improved user experience.
Company officials said D-Link DNS-325 is currently available all across India at an estimated street price of Rs 11,600 with 1 year warranty
