CES 2012: NETGEAR launches Universal Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender to maximize wireless coverage

Universal Dual-Band WiFi Range Extender (WN2500RP). The WN2500RP is
designed to extend the wireless range and optimize performance of home network.


NETGEAR’s Universal Dual Band WiFi Range Extender extends
the coverage of both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi signals from an existing
wireless router or gateway. It is expected to provide consumers with the
convenience of a flexible and improved WiFi connection.


The WN2500RP offers simultaneous dual-band WiFi which
runs both 2.4 GHz and 5GHz bands concurrently, doubling WiFi bandwidth and
reducing WiFi interference. NETGEAR’s FastLane Technology for range extenders
enable consumers to opt for using a performance optimized operating mode for HD
video streaming and online gaming. The Dual Band WiFi Range Extender supports
up to four wired to WiFi connections, turning any Ethernet-enabled
entertainment or computing device into a WiFi-enabled device.

home wireless network. NETGEAR’s new WiFi range extenders make it easier for
consumers to improve their overall wireless experience by getting the most out

to install and set up with no need for a CD or Ethernet cable.

available now in the United States starting at $89.99.
