Avaya strengthens top management

Telecom Lead America: Avaya has appointed Sandra Devine
as vice president and head of Avaya Professional Services, and Todd Johnstone
as vice president, Global Sales Operations.


The new appointments are expected to drive innovation
within the organization and across the dynamic business collaboration and
communications market.


Sandra Devine will lead the APS organization. She will
strengthen Avaya’s solutions orientation and its commitment to meeting the
multidimensional needs of its global customers. She will mobilize her team to
deliver Avaya’s next-generation solutions, focused on speed, quality and
efficiency.


Before joining Avaya, Devine served as senior vice
president and general manager of the US Northeast Region at CGI. Prior to CGI,
Devine served as vice president of Strategic Sales for HP.


Johnstone was most recently CEO of GE Energy —
Industrial Solutions EMEA, a global business providing safe, smart and
efficient solutions in more than 50 countries. Over the past 19 years at GE,
Todd held multiple senior leadership positions including Sourcing General
Manager for GE Lighting EMEA, Customer Service Leader EMEA and General Manager
for GE Service EMEA.


“Avaya has been steadily attracting experienced
leaders and fresh talent from global, world class organizations,” said
Avaya President and CEO Kevin Kennedy.


Earlier this year, Avaya appointed Gary Barnett, Marc
Randall and Brett Shockley in senior positions.
