Telecom Lead Europe: Wireless device testing solutions provider Anite has achieved the 80 percent validation target for Priority-1 TD-LTE interoperability test cases for device functionality and performance in LTE Bands 38 and 40.
Anite has become the first device test vendor to achieve this milestone.
Anite’s progress will contribute to TD-LTE device testing capability to accelerate the commercial roll-out ofthis technology and services. The acceptance requirements include signaling and performance tests, such as global roaming, mobility, data throughput, and power consumption, all crucial criteria to guarantee the experience of mobile device users for TD-LTE operators in GTI.
“Anite has worked in close collaboration with China Mobile for a number of years now, and has very strong links with the TD-LTEmarket,” said Paul Beaver, products director at Anite’s Handset Testing business.
“Anite’s achievement of validating 80 percent of highest-priority TD-LTE interoperability tests was published by the taskforce led by China Mobile at the Global TD-LTE Initiative Workshop held in Hangzhou, China,” Beaver added.
Recently, Anite verified the first TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA Inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) conformance test case. This accomplishment further demonstrates Anite’s leading position in TD-LTE conformance testing.
