TRAI on Friday said India mobile wireless subscriber base increased 0.74 percent to 943.97 million in December 2014 from 937.06 million in November 2014.
Mobile user based on Bharti Airtel grew to 21,72,15,042 in December 2014 from 21,54,58,762 in November 2014.
Vodafone’s mobile subscriber base increased to 17,86,75,831 from 17,71,89,796.
Mobile subscriber base of Idea Cellular grew to 15,05,36,058 from 14,79,52,692.
Reliance Communications’ mobile subscriber base increased to 10,62,94,446 from 10,61,35,742.
BSNL mobile user base declined to 8,13,84,517 from 8,26,90,230.
Aircel’s mobile subscriber base dipped to 7,86,73,545 from 7,77,57,678.
Tata Docomo’s mobile subscriber base rose to 6,61,66,568 from 6,55,69,236.
Mobile subscriber base of Uninor surged to 4,36,30,934 from 4,24,29,363.
MTS India’s mobile subscriber base dipped to 89,80,144 from 90,48,254.
Videocon Telecom’s mobile subscriber base increased to 64,52,424 from 62,43,592.
MTNL’s mobile subscriber base increased to 34,50,669 from 34,28,224.
Quadrant’s mobile subscriber base rose to 25,11,405 from 24,46,528.
TRAI said the number of telephone subscribers in India increased 0.70 percent to 970.97 million in December, 2014 from 964.20 million in November 2014.
